End of August!

We have completed 17 days of school! It's hard to believe that September will be here next week. We have be very busy in B27. We have reviewed letters A-H, sorting, rules and procedures and graphing. Next week we will learn letters I-L, finish sorting and graphing, learn about the states of matter and community helpers.

Today, you should recieve a letter knowledge assessment. Please review the letters your student missed and use this to focus on those letters. I know EVERY student will know ALL of their letters by the end of September!!!

Dive into Learning!

We've made a splash this year in Kindergarten!

I am SO excited to have my new group of students. Each one is precious and I can tell they are anxious to learn. Our first two days were spent learning procedures and rules as well reading stories, playing, and of course, making new friends! Next week we will start Open Court reading. Our theme will be School. We will start Chapter 1, Sort and Classify in math. Our specials schedule will begin as well.

If you did not do so already, please read, sign and return each form in your Important Forms packet.

I know we are going to have a FIN-TASTIC year!
