Summer Fun!

The student's summer started last Friday at 2:30, but mine begins today! I have spent the week wraping up the year and gearing up for next year. I cannot wait to take some time to relax and visit with family. Please come by and see me when you come to meet your 1st grade teacher. Have a safe and FABULOUS summer!

Another year

I simply cannot believe that this school year is over. It seems like only yesterday I was excitedly anticipating 12 new students; decorating the room, planning activities, getting supplies ready... Then they came. All of these little bundles of personality and potential. We played and worked and worked and played all year. I have watched some children leave and have welcomed new children into our room. Most importantly, I have watched EVERY child blossom and grow. They have learned so much...and the potential is there for each to learn so much more. Now, as the year ends I am sad that these students will not be with me anymore, but I know that they will all me in good hands as they venture on to 1st grade. I also now look toward next year, and the new bundles of personality and potential that are waiting to grow!

I have truly enjoyed working with each of you this year. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help in the future.
